Modern Day Parables
I was preaching on Sunday, after spending the day in Cardiff on Saturday.
So check out the transcript on my other blog.
It's going to be a really quiet week, which I'm quite glad of. School and church groups have come to an end. Now there is the build up to Soul Survivor... lots of people quite excited. I'm hoping to meet up with some other groups. If you find yourself a Week B give me a bell!

working at the car wash, yeah!
We washed many cars on Sunday, we raised lots of money! I'm well impressed with how hard the young people have worked and they thoroughly deserve the holiday.
I have also been working... much too much in some cases.
The lovely pink car has been working hard too and I think we both need new brake pads!
It's silly games galore on Sunday, and it would be even better if my sponge ball hadn't gone walkies... Church is fantastic, but it's definitely full of mums who love to clean. You can put stuff down and never see it again (it's gone to that magical place called 'tidied').
Oh well... i've got to put some energy into going to the wholesalers before school kicks out. Traffic around Luton is much more hectic nowadays.
